SCIF and WaterAid have further strengthened their partnership to work collaboratively to ensure better health and wellbeing for communities in East Africa. At SCIF we want to partner with organisations who share our vision to work with communities to develop sustainable solutions that improve health, generate new opportunities, and protect the natural environment. By partnering with WaterAid we can ensure that our projects are led by community priorities, as well as expertise in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).
The partnership will strengthen efforts to deliver better health through clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, as well as environmental protection and climate mitigation projects to communities across East Africa and Ethiopia. With a shared commitment to placing communities and the protection of our natural environment at the centre of everything we do, we can jointly create better public health, mitigate and reverse the effects of climate change and promote sustainable development in the region.
